Detrás de las cortinas (Behind the curtains) is a series that speaks to us about the incommunication and the restrictions we place on our personality in a social or personal context. The shadows are, at first, the hidden or repressed parts of people. Through them, I try to show emotions and feelings more real than what we only know of ourselves. By interlacing them, I am searching for a communication, an aperture into this guarded interior world, insinuating some problems that are simultaneously deceitful because of curtains that are like facades and a refuge from our thoughts.
