[…] That is why color scares to death in these paintings by Agustín Bejarano. They penetrate us with their deadly paleness, the blues, grays, violet, and ochers. He extends and cultivates a somber atmosphere in which man is only a small particle of cosmic powder in his fleeting stay on Earth.
